We are in the second half of this semester and final exams will be here before we know it! To help instructors gear up for finals, we have scheduled a workshop on setting up Canvas Quizzes and the Gradebook to get you ready for the end of term. If you are at all interested in giving an online exam or calculating grades through Canvas, please register for this workshop!
Using Canvas for Final Exams and Grades (Registration)

Join us over Zoom as we discuss assessing and grading student learning in Canvas! We will provide tips and best practices for using Canvas Quizzes and setting up your Gradebook to finalize course grades. We will also go over providing students with accommodations. A short break and time for Q&A are built into this 90-minute workshop. The workshop will cover:
- Creating Classic Quizzes
- Creating New Quizzes
- Managing student accommodations
- Using the Text Quiz Builder to quickly create quiz questions from a Word doc
- Manually creating Gradebook items through Assignments
- Setting up the Gradebook
- Q&A
