We’re excited to announce that the CFE Faculty Showcase on Teaching will return in a virtual format this spring! The Faculty Showcase has provided instructors with an opportunity to learn from each other about promising teaching practices and to connect with colleagues across disciplines. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope to use this year’s event to think about what we’ve learned the past year and how it might inform teaching and learning moving forward.

Registration is required to attend sessions, so register now and save the date on your calendar! The Showcase is open to all UNC instructors, as well as faculty, staff, and students with instructional support roles. You need only register once to access all the online sessions offered over the two days. Information about accessing the live sessions will be provided later.

Stronger Than Before: Resilience and Joy in Post-Pandemic Teaching
Flower Darby is a scholar of equitable and inclusive teaching and learning at Northern Arizona University and co-author of Small Teaching Online: Applying Learning Science in Online Classes.
Dr. Bryan Dewsbury
Equity and Power in the Higher Education Classroom: Teaching for Freedom and Democracy
Dr. Bryan Dewsbury is an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences and Principal Investigator for the Science Education and Society Research Program at Rhode Island University.
