Educational Technologies is a division within Information Technology Services. The mission of ITS Educational Technologies is to provide technology solutions that support the University’s educational mission. The division includes:

Classroom Support & Learning Space Design

The Classroom Hotline provides technical support to all General Purpose Classrooms scheduled by the University Registrar’s Office and gives hands-on training for faculty, staff, and students using these rooms. The Classroom Hotline designs, installs, and maintains all technical and audio-visual equipment found in these classrooms. The Classroom Hotline also provides AV design services and project management for departmental spaces.

Educational Technologies Systems & Services

Our Systems & Services team provides technical and instructional support for Sakai, the University’s central learning management system, and various applications integrated with the system. The group also supports services for students, including Carolina Print Hub and Virtual Lab, providing instant delivery of applications to personal devices.
